Mt. Pleasant Club
After more than 100 years, Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey is back. It all started with the old whiskey bottle found during a renovation. The bottle, likely left behind by the original builders in 1911, was discovered in the roof of a rowhouse on 19th Street in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood of Washington, DC. The discovery inspired Mt. Pleasant residents to revitalize the brand. In 2021, the first re-launched release of Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey came to market. Named the 19th Street Batch, the release paid homage to the street where the old bottle was found. Kilbourne Place Rye and Brown Street Bourbon followed. All Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey releases are limited in production and quantity, and they strive to capture the spirit of the street the batch is named after.
